The Criteria:
Novice
EVENT 1 - MONSTER DUMBBELL PRESS
EVENT 2 - MAX DEADLIFT
EVENT 3 - CONANS WHEEL
EVENT 4 - MOVING/LOADING MEDLEY
EVENT 5 - TRUCK PULL
Strongman - Novice
Strongman - Intermediate
Strongman - Open
Strongwoman - Novice
Strongwoman - Intermediate
Strongwoman - Open
The Criteria:
Novice
- Have competed only a handful of times with a novice level of experience
- A moderate level of experience in strong man events with a solid base level of strength
- Have competed many times in strong man events finishing high in the intermediate category
EVENT 1 - MONSTER DUMBBELL PRESS
- Winner - Most completed reps in time limit
- 60 second time cap
- Monster Dumbbell press for reps
- NOVICE: 20kg (F) 40KG (M)
- INTER: 25kg (F) 50kg (M)
- OPEN: 30kg (F) 60kg (M)
EVENT 2 - MAX DEADLIFT
- Winner – heaviest weight lifted
- 60 seconds per lift
- Max Deadlift – 3 nominated lifts
- N.B. All loads nominated by athlete, no minimum load
EVENT 3 - CONANS WHEEL
- Winner – most rotations of the wheel
- 60 seconds time cap
- Carry Conan’s wheel for max time
- NOVICE: CW +0kg (F) CW +40kg (M)
- INTER: CW +10kg (F) CW +80kg (M)
- OPEN: CW +20kg (F) CW +120kg (M)
EVENT 4 - MOVING/LOADING MEDLEY
- Winner – fastest time wins
- 90 second time cap
